Black & White

Black and white photography is eternal. She is timeless and, as it were, speaks through generations. A picture taken yesterday may look like he is 70 years old, and this mystery, the difficulty in determining his age, gives him an additional charm.

Nothing distracts. Pictures saturated with colors can be beautiful, but the riot of colors confuses the thought and disorients. A monochrome picture may look boring, but at the same time it is easier to place accents on it, emphasize details or see what the photographer wanted to say. Paradoxically, black and white sometimes makes you really see the subject.

It’s simple. But this simplicity and minimalism can make a stronger impression than a color photo. A dark silhouette against a light sky or a bright detail on a black background cling and evoke feelings and emotions that would not awaken colors. A black-and-white frame leaves room for imagination, and it makes the picture alive better than thousands of shades.
